LiVevo makes a splash at the Wellington Dragon Boat Festival

LiVevo's expert team were on hand to massage many a tired muscle at the 16th Wellington Dragon Boat Festival at Queen's Wharf Wellington on 6-7 March.

The weather provided ideal conditions for competitors and for the thousands of spectators who watched from the busy Wellington waterfront and cheered on the 72 teams who tackled the 310-metre course.

A team of 6 qualified LiVevo massage therapists were kept very busy in the LiVevo tent on both massage tables and chairs.  It appears the lure of a relaxing massage not only impressed the paddlers but many visiting tourists who just couldn't believe their luck when they came across the LiVevo massage crew.  There were quite a mix of international visitors from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Singapore and many kiwi travellers who visited LiVevo for some well deserved rest and relaxation.

"We even managed to massage a couple of the band members and crew from Saturday night's Edgefest concert before their performance", comments Carolyn Leatherby, LiVevo's Wellington franchise manager.

The kind sponsorship and promotion by valued LiVevo client Deloitte and support of the ZM radio crew and festival organisers helped to make this yet another great event for LiVevo.
